Kenton Police arrested 2 individuals on warrants Thursday

According to reports from the Kenton Police Department the first arrest occurred in the 600 block of East Street. A Kenton Police officer was advised that 37 year old Gregory A Jolliff Jr. of Forest had a warrant for his arrest out of Wyandot County. Jolliff was arrested without incident and transported to the county line and released to a Wyandot County Sheriff Deputy. Workers’ Comp Rate Decrease Proposed for Ohio Local Governments

COLUMBUS – The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) will reduce premium rates for public employers an average of 10% next year under a proposal discussed today by BWC’s Board of Directors and backed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. Battle of Munda Documentary Being Shown in Kenton July 30

Boil Water Advisory Lifted in Lakeview

A Boil Water Advisory that was in effect in Lakeview has been lifted.   WPKO Radio reported that the advisory was issued this past Tuesday after a water valve break in the village.   Test results came back this morning showing that the water is safe for consumption and the advisory was lifted.
