Kenton School Board to Vote on Contract for New A.D.

Employee Injured During Findlay Armed Robbery

Kenton Man Arrested on Warrant

A Kenton man was arrested on a warrant Sunday afternoon on a warrant.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers responded to an apartment in the 600 block of East Street where they found 23 year old Trenton Reed, who was wanted on a pickup order through Adult Parole Authority.   During that process, it was discovered that there was an active warrant for his arrest out of the Findlay Post of the Ohio State Patrol. KPD Investigating Weekend Theft Incidents

A breaking and entering was reported to Kenton police over the weekend.   According to the report, a resident in the 300 block of Center Street told officers numerous tools were stolen at his residence.   The incident is under investigation.       A shoplifting occurred at a business in Kenton over the weekend.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, employees of Kroger told officers someone stole four family packs of steak from the store. Kenton City Council to Meet This Evening

Kenton City Council is scheduled to meet this evening.   There are two ordinances, one up for third reading, and the other on second reading under old business.   Two ordinances under new business will be on first reading.   Council will conduct the 12th regular session of the year starting at 7 this evening in the Kenton City Building.

Two Blood Drives Scheduled this Week

Two blood drives are taking place around the area today.   One will be from noon until 6 at First Baptist Church on County Road 175 in Kenton.   Another today will be from 2-8pm at Belle Center United Methodist Church located at 101 South Center Street in Belle Center.   This Wednesday June 26, a blood drive will be held from 2-7pm at the Forest VFW Post at 211 West Lima Street in Forest.

Local Gas Prices Unchanged from Last Week

The average price for a gallon of gas in Hardin County remained the same as last week.   AAA reported that the average price for a gallon of regular grade gas is $2.48.   Hancock County continues to have the cheapest price in the region at $2.38 a gallon.   The most expensive prices are in Logan and Union Counties where the average cost is $2.58 a gallon.   The statewide average per gallon is at $2.55 and the national […]
