Warrant Issued for Arrest of Findlay Armed Robbery Suspect

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a suspect wanted in an armed robbery that occurred this past Monday morning in Findlay.   According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of 27 year old Kip Allen Wright, of Findlay. Ohio Ag Director to Meet with Local Ag Producers

The Director of the Ohio Department of Agriculture will be in Logan County Friday to meet with area ag producers.   The Bellefontaine Examiner reported that Dorothy Pelanda will be at Henry Farms located at 9110 State Route 287 in West Liberty beginning at 11 Friday morning.   She will talk with local farmers who have been affected by this season's heavy rains.

OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital will be sponsoring a Survivor Dinner prior to the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event scheduled for Friday, July 19 in downtown Kenton.   The Survivor Dinner will be held at the Elks, located at 157 E. Jerome Township Fire Holding Town Hall on Tax Levy

The Jerome Township Division of Fire in Union County will be holding two informational Town Hall meetings regarding a proposed tax levy for Fire and EMS services.    The meetings will be held at the Jerome Township Building located at 9777 Industrial Parkway on June 26th and 27th at 7 pm each night.    Township and Fire officials are looking to gather the residents’ thoughts, expectations, and ideas prior to placing an issue on the November ballot.

Farming Accident Claims the Life of Mt. Blanchard Man

A Mt. Blanchard man died in a farming accident Monday afternoon.   WFIN Radio reported that 44 year old Christopher Farver was working on a piece of farm machinery in a field on Township Road 152 in Hancock County when he was struck by a tractor being operated by 77 year old Leo Smalley.   Farver was pronounced dead at the scene.   The accident remains under investigation.

Two Injured in Crash This Morning in Northern Hardin County (Incomplete)
