Kenton Elks Observe Flag Day with Local Scout Members

The Downtown Kenton Elks was the picture of patriotism Friday as local scouts helped members of Elks Lodge 157 honor Flag Day with a colorful ceremony in observance of the national holiday. “It’s about the flag, patriotism, what our lodge stands for — charity, justice, brotherly love,” said Elks Exalted Ruler Derek Kaufman. Ada Bingo Benefits Ada Music Boosters

Ada Bingo plays weekly on Thursdays at the Center on Central, 111 Central Avenue, Ada.   Park in the Depot parking lot.   Doors open at 5:30 pm with play starting at 6:55 pm.   Come early and have dinner.   Ada Bingo uses new, radio-controlled electronic machines, as well as paper packages.   Proceeds benefit the Ada Music Boosters.

Another Water Rescue Performed on CR 245 Tuesday Afternoon

A car stalled out in high water on County Road 245 Tuesday afternoon.   According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, the driver had to be rescued from the vehicle.   Firefighters from the Mt. Crash on SR 31 Tuesday Afternoon Results in Minor Injuries

A juvenile driver was cited following a crash on State Route 31 Tuesday afternoon.   The report is not complete, but according to information from the Sheriff's Office, the driver drove from a stop sign on County Road 190 onto 31.   His car was struck by a vehicle being operated by a Columbus man.   Minor injuries were reported from the crash.   The juvenile driver was cited for failure to yield.

No Injuries Reported in 2 Vehicle Crash Tuesday Night

A two vehicle crash occurred around 8 Tuesday night on State Route 67 at County Road 175.   A driver pulled from 175 and was struck by a vehicle on 67.   One of the vehicles ended up off the road and into a muddy field. The other vehicle came to rest on the road.   There were no injuries in the crash.

Eats on the Street Coming Saturday July 20

The 2019 Eats on the Street has been scheduled for Saturday July 20 from 4-11pm in the Downtown Kenton Historical Courthouse District.   This year's event is being called bigger and better than ever.   15 food trucks, rockin' live bands, a kids zone and a lot more will be featured.
