The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for Hardin, Logan, Central Auglaize and Northern Union Counties until 5 this evening. The picture was taken from on the Leighton Street bridge. Theft of Gasoline Reported to KPD Monday

The theft of gasoline from Fuel Mart was reported to Kenton Police on Monday.   According to the report, officers were dispatched to the business in reference to a male who had pumped gasoline into a vehicle then drove off without paying.   An employee was able to get a license plate, which was registered to a resident in Findlay.   The Findlay Police Department advised that the vehicle was at the residence at the time they checked.   The […]

Counterfeit Money Used at Another Kenton Business

Counterfeit money was used at another Kenton business on Monday.   According to the Kenton Police Department report, an employee of Kroger reported that a woman used 6 counterfeit $5 bills at the store.   The bills were seized as evidence.   On Sunday, an employee at S & S Drive Thru reported that someone used a counterfeit bill at that business.

Kenton Man Arrested on Warrant

A Kenton man was arrested on a warrant Monday morning.   According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 200 block of Letson Street in reference to a wanted person.   The warrant through the Hardin County Sheriff's Office was confirmed, and 27 year old Michael Cunningham was arrested and released to the custody of the Sheriff's Office.

Americans for Prosperity-Ohio will present Senator Rob McColley with the 2019 Taxpayers' Torch Award.   The annual recognition is presented to an outstanding lawmaker that shows leadership through policies that break down barriers to opportunity.   The grassroots organization is recognizing Sen. Three Men Setting Out to Paddleboard Across Lake Erie

Three men will begin a paddleboard journey across Lake Erie early this morning.   Joe Lorenz, Kwin Morris and Jeff Guy traverse international waters passing by 800+ foot freighters and other boat traffic all in an effort to raise awareness of Great Lakes environmental issues.   They’ll begin their adventure at Belle Isle State Park, home of the Dossin Great Lakes Museum and end it near Sandusky.   The 80-mile trip is expected to take about 24 hours. Hardin County Sheriff Personnel Attend National Sheriff’s Conference

Members of the Hardin County Sheriff's Office attended the the National Sheriff’s Conference in Louisville Kentucky over the weekend. Sheriffs and Deputies from throughout the country convened to educate themselves as well as find ways to improve the service provided to their respective counties. Sheriff Keith Everhart attended with Chief Deputy Dennis Burns, Sgt. Rich Williams and Sgt. Chuck Mulligan. The group said they were proud to represent Hardin County on the national level.
