Two Rescued After Vehicle Stalls in High Water

A car got stranded in high water early Sunday morning, and the two occupants had to be rescued. According to information from the Kenton Fire Department, firefighters were dispatched at just past midnight to the 100 block of Silver Street where the car stalled in around three to four feet of water. Prevent Blindness Warns Ohioans About the Dangers of Backyard Fireworks

Columbus, OH (June 12, 2019) – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Fireworks Report, estimated that, in 2017, injuries from fireworks increased by 16% from the previous year. An estimated 12,900 Americans were injured by fireworks with 67% occurring around the month of the Fourth of July holiday. Latta Urges Disaster Declaration be Approved for Farmers

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bob Latta (R-Bowling Green) sent a letter to United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue regarding the severe and unprecedented rainfall impacting farmers in Northwest and West Central Ohio. Go Fly a Kite Day for Saturday Cancelled

The 3rd Annual Hardin County Family YMCA Community 'Go Fly a Kite Day' scheduled for tomorrow (June15) from noon-3pm has been cancelled. The event was scheduled to take place at the soccer complex on State Route 292, but the forecast is calling for showers and possible thunderstorms, which forced organizers to cancel the activities. The Y will be looking for a date with the kite club to reschedule.

Two Pursuits Span Multiple Counties Last Night; 3 Juveniles in Custody

Three juveniles have been apprehended following two separate pursuits that started around midnight last night.   According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff's Office, a car was reported as stolen out of Logan County and a pursuit of the vehicle was initiated in Allen County.
