Man Arrested Following Domestic Disturbance in Nevada

A Nevada man was arrested Thursday following an argument with his brother.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 300 block of South Goodbread Street to investigate the active domestic disturbance.   It was discovered that the suspect, identified as Steven Bledsoe, allegedly punched his brother several times, and shoved his mother causing an injury to her.   The argument apparently started when Bledsoe was about to smoke […]

Supreme Court of Ohio Refuses to Hear Appeal of Dennis Dellifield

The Supreme Court of Ohio has declined to accept jurisdiction of an appeal made by the former band director of Allen East Schools. Dennis L. Dellifield was convicted in late February of 2018 on two counts each of attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material and attempted illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material and performance. Boil Water Advisory in Forest Has Been Lifted

The boil advisory for residents in Forest whose water service was off on Gage St. and Wells Road has been lifted. According to information from the village, water was turned off for residents of 529,523,521,515 West Gage along with ALL of Wells Road for a water main installation on Wednesday. The boil water advisory was in effect when the water was turned back on Wednesday afternoon.

Hardin County Sheriff’s Personnel Receive Award

LMH Health Systems Presents Life Saving Award to Bluffton Girl

A 7 year old Bluffton girl was presented with a Life Saving Award for placing a 9-1-1 call for her unresponsive grandmother.   The Lima Memorial Health Systems said that Sydney Goodwin called the emergency number when her grandmother experienced low blood sugar that left her unresponsive.   The first grader dialed 9-1-1 and was able to inform them about her grandmother's condition as well as state her location.   Her quick thinking is credited for saving her grandmother's life.
