Three Killed in Friday Evening Crash on 117 in Logan County

Three people were killed in a head-on crash that occurred this past Friday evening on State Route 117 in Logan County. The Bellefontaine Examiner reported that 41 year old Clayton Stump, of Lakeview, was driving north on 117 and his pickup was struck head on by a southbound minivan being driven by 19 year old Erik Snyder, of London, Ohio. House in Carey Suspected of Containing Drugs

A drug investigation is underway in Wyandot County.   According to the report from the Wyandot County Sheriff's office, the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit was notified by the Carey Police Department that drugs may be contained in a residence at 554 Grove Street in Carey.   A search warrant was obtained after a judge found probable cause existed.   Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit and officers from the Carey Police Department conducted the search, but no other information […]

Bellefontaine Man Pleads Guilty to Reckless Homicide

A Bellefontaine man pleaded guilty in a case involving the death of a Lakeview woman.   WPKO Radio reported that 36 year old Darrel Davis pleaded guilty to reckless homicide on Thursday.   Charges of involuntary manslaughter and felonious assault were dropped in exchange for the plea.   The case dates back to June of 2018 and involved the death of 23 year old Kierstin Johnson, who was found unresponsive at a residence in Bellefontaine.   An autopsy revealed that […]

Honda Conducting Smart Intersection Testing in Marysville

Four Sentenced Recently in Common Pleas Court

  Four people were sentenced recently in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.   According to documents from Prosecutor Brad Bailey's Office:   .Aaron S. Miller was sentenced to a total of 45 months in prison on one count each of possession of heroin, breaking and entering and assault.   .Sally M.
