Spring Fest at Market on Main is this Saturday

Spring Fest at Market on Main is set to take place this Saturday May 20. The family fun event will run from 9am until 2pm in the parking behind Middlefield Bank. The Hardin County Sheriff's Office will be making identification cards for children.  Kenton Head Start will have a fun ball toss Critter Crusaders will have adoptable animals for meet-n-greets. Several food vendors will also be operating during that time.

Registrations for Memorial Day Parade Floats Still Being Accepted

City of Kenton Government, Kenton Lions Club  and Kenton Historic Courthouse District are planning a Memorial Day Parade. It will start at 10am on Monday, May 29. Lineup will be at 9 that morning at Mary Lou Johnson - Hardin County District Library. Wilson Breaks Ground for New Facility in Ada

Wilson Football officially broke ground on their new facility in Ada on Tuesday. Board of Elections to Conduct Official Canvass of May 2 Election

The Hardin County Board of Elections will meet Tuesday, May 23. The meeting will start at 9 that morning in their office in the Hardin County Courthouse in downtown Kenton. The Official Canvass of the May 2 Special Election will take place.   In addition, the board will conduct regular business, including approval of the minutes of the May 2 Election Day meeting and approving bills.

Items have been stolen from several outbuildings recently in the Village of Ada. Lima Police Department K9 Teams Graduate

The newest Lima Police Department K9 teams graduated from training last week, They hit the streets and schools of Lima this week.  LPD K9 officers: Cory Noftz with Miko Riley Brubaker with Nala Paula Strickler, retired LPD sergeant, with Emmy. MLJ Youth Summer Reading Program Starts June 5

The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library will hold the Youth Summer Reading Program beginning June 5. Sign is scheduled for 4-6pm on June 1. The program will run through July 15.
