The Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library will hold the Youth Summer Reading Program beginning June 5. Sign is scheduled for 4-6pm on June 1. The program will run through July 15. HN Academic Awards Ceremony Being Held Friday

The Hardin Northern Junior High and High School spring Academic Awards and senior recognition assembly will take place at noon this Friday, May 19. It will be held in the junior high gym.   School officials stated that the invitation sent to parents mistakenly showed the start time as 12:30. Parents are advised that the correct time is noon.

Fire Hydrants Being Flushed this Week in Kenton’s Third Ward

The Kenton Fire Department will begin flushing hydrants in the Third Ward of the city starting today (Monday May 15). That will continue through this week. This will include areas north of Columbus Street, and west of Detroit Street. Residents in that area may experience low pressure or discolored, rusty water while hydrants are flushed in your neighborhood.
