Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardeners Hardin County OSU Extension Master Gardeners welcomed its newest volunteer. Laurie Haney was presented her certificate at this week's meeting by Nic Baumer, Hardin County ANR Educator. Haney is presenting a program on Raised Bed Gardening at the Ada Public Library this Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 pm. The library is at 320 North Main Street in Ada.
The Wyandot County Fair Board is looking for historic photos, newspaper clippings, ribbons, stories, or memorabilia from years past. They would like for you to share so they can be displayed at the 175th fair this September. The Hardin County Farm Bureau announced a scholarship program that is open for female students in Hardin and surrounding counties. Young women pursuing a degree in agriculture, or planning a career in the ag industry, can apply. The Women’s Agri-Intelligence Conference is offering a scholarship to support a student dedicated to agriculture. Hardin Northern School's superintendent has resigned from that position. At this week's Board of Education meeting, board members voted to accept the resignation of Andrew Cano. He was hired in 2023. Prior to becoming superintendent, he served as High School Principal and has been involved with the district's athletic programs, including assistant coach. Cano's resignation is effective July 31, 2026.
Hardin County – The eleventh annual Hardin County Horse Banquet will be held on Sunday, April 26 at the Kenton Moose Family Center.
