Gov. DeWine Signs Bill Designating Deputy Daniel “Weston” Sherrer Memorial Highway

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine signed House Bill 541 into law on Tuesday, which designates a portion of U.S. Route 42 in Morrow County as the "Deputy Daniel "Weston" Sherrer Memorial Highway." This is in memory of the 31-year-old Morrow County Sheriff's Office deputy who was tragically killed in the line of duty on May 26, 2025. He was fatally shot while responding to a domestic violence dispute in Marengo.
