The Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance is currently accepting nominations for the 2025 Alliance Annual Awards. Award categories include Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Community Service Award, Nonprofit of the Year, Citizen of the Year, and the RE Allen Lifetime Achievement Award. To submit a nomination, please click here. They must be submitted by 4pm on Monday, March 9. The awards will be presented at the Awards Gala and Banquet on April 16.

Hardin County Common Pleas Court: Child Endangerment Arraignment, Drug Case Sentencing

A Kenton woman was arraigned Tuesday in Hardin County Common Pleas Court on two counts of domestic violence and eight counts of endangering children. Kiera N. Browne was indicted on those charges earlier this month. According to court documents, several of the endangering children counts allege that Browne tortured or cruelly abused a then 9-year-old child. The offenses allegedly occurred July 10, 2025.
