Electric Aggregation Agreement and Utility Rate Adjustments Announced at Kenton City Council Meeting

Kenton City Council conducted its 4th regular session of the year Monday evening. During the meeting, Safety Service Director Cindy Murray announced a utility rate increase. She said the Utility Board agreed to approve a 3% increase that is part of legislation. She said that will take effect March 1, 2026, but residents won't see it until the May bill comes out.
