Kenton High School Girls Varsity Soccer Falls to St. Marys 7-1

Kenton girls come up short on senior night.  The Wildcats played even through the first 30 minutes of the game last night before giving up 2 very good goals by St Marys.  Kenton had opportunities but could not convert.  After half St Marys again scored early taking the wind out of the lady cats' sails.  Kenton got their only goal 10 minutes into the second half from Ali Harpel on an assist from Gabi Wetherill before allowing 3 more goals. Kenton High School Girls Varsity Volleyball Beat Waynesfield-Goshen 3-0

Kenton Volleyball best Waynesfield-Goshen in 3 sets (25-16,25-16, 25-20)  Kenton had another strong night at the net. Macee Heckathorn tallied 5 pts, 9 kills and 10 blocks. Sadie Larrabee had 11 pts, 10 kills and 6 blocks. Cailyn Hopkins smacked 11 kills and 2 blocks. Morgan Lyons had 17pts, 6 kills and 3 blocks.  Brynn Butler led defense with 13 receptions and 15 digs. Kenton High School Boys Varsity Soccer Defeats Wapakoneta 5-1

The Cats defeated Wapak Thursday night 5-1 and improved to 8-1-1 (4-0-1 WBL) on the year.  The Cats outshot Wapak 12-3 in the contest.  Wapak scored early in the contest for a 1-0 lead.  Connor Defibaugh answered in the next 10 minutes when he scored an unassisted goal and the game went to half time 1-1.  In the 2nd half it took 4 minutes for the Cats to strike when Seth Manns found Ethan Yoder for a left footed curler […]

Hard fought battle in Wapakoneta, Kenton fell to Wapakoneta in 3 sets (17-25, 18-25, 16-25)  Morgan Lyons has 10 pts and 6 kills. Riley Totten had 8 pts, 9 receptions and 4 digs. Another time of strong serving credits Kenton win over Lima Senior in 3 sets (25-15,25-15, 25-10) The Wildcats served 96% on the night. Brynn Butler lead defense with 7 receptions and 12 digs. Brinley Hites 9 receptions and 4 digs. Riley Totten came up with 9 digs.  Attacks led by Sadie Larrabee with 10 kills, Macee Heckathorn 7 kills, Morgan Lyons 5 kills and Cailyn Hopkins 5 kills.  Kenton will travel to Wapakoneta on Thursday

Kenton High School Girls Varsity Soccer ties Wapakoneta 0-0 on.

The Wildcats and Redskins battled hard tonight but neither team could find the back of the net. Each team had several good opportunities but both defenses and goalies kept the game scoreless.   The JV girls took home the win tonight with a 3-0 score in the half game. Kenton returns home on Monday to take on St Marys for senior night.  The JV will play at 6 with the Varsity at 7.
