Ada Man Arrested After Pursuit with Ada Police Officers

The Ada Police Department released information today about a vehicle pursuit that occurred late last week.

According to a release, at around 11:40pm on Friday June 7, an officer on patrol observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 600 block of West North Avenue and attempted to make a traffic stop.

The driver failed to stop an continued westbound and turned south on County Road 25.

At State Route 309, the officer lost sight of the vehicle, but it was located by an assisting deputy form the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.

Near Maysville, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it struck a fence and an unoccupied building.

23-year-old Tristan Conley, of Ada, was arrested and is being held in the Multi-County Jail in Marion on charges of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, operating a vehicle impaired and obstructing official business.

The Ada Police Department thanked the Hardin and Allen County Sheriff’s Office and Minich’s Towing for assisting.
