Trial Delayed for Dunkirk Man Facing Charges Involving Minor
The trial of a Dunkirk man who is facing multiple sexually oriented charges involving a minor has been continued in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.
29-year-old Carlos Alejandro was indicted in July on 20 counts of rape, 20 counts of sexual battery, 7 counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of grooming.
Alejandro pleaded not guilty to all charges at the July 21 arraignment, bond was set at $750,000 and the trial was scheduled to begin December 14.
Judge Steve Christopher approved the continuance in court on Wednesday, and the 10-day trial is now scheduled to be begin February 1, 2027.
