Ada Police Department Receives State Funding

The Ada Police Department was one of 8 law enforcement to receive funding in round two of the  Ohio Violent Crime Reduction Grant Program.

The department will receive just over $53,000 for retention bonuses to aid in retaining current staffing levels and recruiting prospective employees.

In all, 2 million dollars was awarded to the 8 agencies.

The Violent Crime Reduction Grant program is funded through both the state operating budget and with funds from the American Recovery Plan.
