Allen County Deputy Justified in Shooting
A Special Grand Jury late last week deliberated and determined Allen County Sheriff’s Deputy Izak Ackerman was justified in his actions in the shooting of Quincey J. Pritchett.
The shooting occurred on June 21 this year.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a mandatory internal review, which is expected to be complete today or tomorrow afternoon.
At this time the Sheriff’s Office expects to hold a news conference this Wednesday.
The time has not yet been determined.
