(Lenora Prichard and Sheriff Keith Everhart)
The Hoopin’ It Up Basketball game is just a week away.
Tip-off is set for 2pm on Sunday November 16, and the doors open at 12:30 at Hardin Northern School.
The game is between the Hardin County Pioneers and Hardin County Sheriff’s Office.
The coach of the Sheriff’s Office team, Sheriff Keith Everhart, said this is a big fundraiser for the Hardin County Special Olympics, but the admission price gives everyone a chance to be there, “It does not cost to come and watch. We do a freewill offering when you walk in, so if you can’t afford anything, that’s great, and if you can toss in a couple of bucks, twenty, whatever, but we made a lot of money last year for the Special Olympics, and we’re hoping to do even a little better this year.”
For the complete discussion with Sheriff Everhart and Hardin County Special Olympics Coordinator Nora Prichard, tune in Public Eye, Saturday and Sunday morning at 7:30 on WKTN.
