Columbus Man Facing Charges After Being Arrest in Union County
Stopping to check on a disabled vehicle led to the arrest of a 29 year old Columbus man in Union County.
According to information from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, at just before 11:30 Thursday morning, a deputy on patrol stopped to check on a disabled 2017 Nissan Rogue on Mitchell DeWitt Road near Industrial Parkway.
After further investigation, it was determined the Nissan had been stolen in the City of Columbus.
The driver, identified as Dustin E. Blevins, was arrested for receiving stolen property and an outstanding warrant from the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
He was transported to the Tri County Regional Jail.
