Conkle’s Florist and Greenhouse Receives Community Pride Award

Revitalize Kenton presented the Community Pride Award to Conkle’s Florist & Greenhouse.

If you remember their showroom had damage, first from tornado winds in August 2023, and upon those repairs being made, then a semi truck hit the building in February 2024.

They have remained open but without their showroom. And now the windows are restored and the showroom is coming back to life. We will share when they have their community open house in the near future.

We couldn’t wait to honor them for their perseverance in these difficult circumstances.

They have served our community for 50 years.

Also Kenton Mayor and Revitalize Kenton Board Member Lynn Webb (above shaking hands with Tim Conkle) was on hand to congratulate the Conkle family.
