The 2023 Christmas season kicks off in Kenton this evening.
The lighting of the Hardin County Courthouse and unveiling of Window Wonderland takes place at 6:30 this evening.
That will be followed by the Kenton Lions Club: Ohio’s Biggest Small Town Christmas Parade.
The parade will form on Oriental Street near the Kenton Middle School and move west on Columbus to the downtown. It will turn south on Main Street, west on Franklin, north on Detroit and end at Carrol Street.
The parade features numerous floats and other entries and brings Santa himself to town.
It will be held regardless of rain or snow this evening.
