Driver’s Medical Emergency Blamed for Vehicle Striking McCullough Industries Building Last Week

More information was released on accident that occurred Thursday October 1 involving a vehicle hitting the McCullough Industries building on County Road 175.

According to the report from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, 51-year-old Darrel Allmon, of Kenton, lost control of his vehicle while traveling south on 175.

The vehicle went off the right side of the road, continued through a bean field, ramped a railroad track, overturned and struck the building.

It was determined that Allmon had a medical emergency, but he was not injured in the crash.

Disabling damage occurred to the vehicle, and there was structural damage observed on the exterior of the building.
