The “magical phone call” that Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart has been waiting for has been received.
Several weeks ago, Sheriff Everhart informed the public that he was in need of a liver transplant and was placed on the list to await the call that a donor liver is available.
That call was received early this (Friday) morning and the Sheriff is en route to the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis where the transplant surgery is planned for late this (Friday) afternoon.
The sheriff’s office staff expressed their appreciation for all the prayers for him and stated that continued prayers are much needed.
Updates will be provided when they are available.
