A flash flood warning has expired, but a flood warning has been issued for our area.

The flash flood warning expired at 9:30 this morning, and the National Weather Service then issued the warning until 3:15 this (Thursday) afternoon.

Between 2 and 4 inches of rain has fallen in some areas, and that combined with saturated ground and runoff is causing flooding.

Many roads around Hardin County are covered with rain, and the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is advising motorists not to cross them because you don’t know how deep the water is in any given area.

Remember the phrase, Turn Around, Don’t Drown.
