
The Findlay Police Department has announced the hiring of a new police officer.
Chance C. Collins was sworn in earlier this week.
The 34 year old Collins is a graduate of Arlington High School and he attended Tiffin University, graduating with a bachelor degree in Criminal Justice.
Collins previously served at the Forest Police Department and has spent the last 13 years with the Carey Police Department.
While on the Carey force, Collins served on the Wyandot County Major Crimes Unit and held several positions within the department.
Collins resides in Arlington with his family, and he will be assigned to the department’s patrol division.
