Grain Safety Week Underway
National Stand Up 4 Grain Safety Week started today and runs through this Friday, April 8.
This is a weeklong virtual campaign that is sponsored by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s National Alliance.
It is being held in conjunction with the National Grain and Feed Association, Grain Elevator & Processing Society, and Grain Handling Safety Coalition.
There are 15-20 recorded grain bin incidents every year, and 60% of those are fatal.
All grain bin entrapment and engulfment incidents are preventable.
