A High Wind Watch is in effect from Thursday morning through Thursday evening.

The National Weather Service says you expect winds of 20 to 30 miles an hour with gusts up to 60 miles an hour during that time frame.

Widespread power outages are possible since winds of that magnitude can blow down trees and power lines.

Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

This would be a good time to fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to the onset of winds.
