The kindergarten traveled to the Hites’ family pumpkin patch.

Before the trip we learned all about pumpkins and their life cycle.

While at the farm we walked around the patch and saw the plants first-hand, we carved pumpkins (and got to feel the guts inside!), saw how the farmers collect the pumpkins and prepared them to be sold, learned all about Indian corn, and pet a variety of animals!

A special thanks to the Hites’ family, and to the Hardin Northern PTO for giving us the funds to go.
