A recent accident handled by the Batavia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol took an ironic twist.

The patrol received a call about a reckless vehicle on State Route 32.

Shortly after that, the vehicle ended up off the road and struck the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s drug activity/impaired driver sign.

The motorist was arrested for Operating a Vehicle Intoxicated.

Motorists are encouraged to call #677 if you see dangerous driving on Ohio roads.
