Information Sought on Cold Case Investigation in Allen County
Allen County Sheriff’s Office officials are looking for information about a cold case that remains under investigation.
On the evening of October 19, 2021, at approximately 8:36 PM, the Allen County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home on Edgewood Drive in Lima for a female who suffered from a gunshot wound.
The female, later identified as Ja-Kia Battles, was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries. The Allen County Sheriff’s Office is seeking any information regarding this incident.
The Lima/Allen-Putman County Crime Stoppers Program is offering a cash award of up to $1,000 to anyone who provides anonymous tip information that would lead to the arrest of anyone involved in the incident.
