Not only is Father’s Day this weekend, it also has been designated Free Fishing Days.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources said Ohio residents are invited to experience the state’s public fishing opportunities without purchasing a license on Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th.

All size and bag limits still apply during those two days.

Outside of this weekend, a fishing license is required.

The cost is $25, and the license is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
