
The Kenton Lions club held its meeting on Wednesday August 16th, 2023, at the Kenton Elks.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by President Lion Jason Van Buskirk with 22 members present. President Lion Jason Van Buskirk led with the pledge and the prayer. The meeting was adjourned and reconvened at 7:00 pm following a meal.
Communication: President Lion Jason Van Buskirk shared a Thank You Card from Shane Spencer who received the Carl Lotz Lions Scholarship and another Thank You
Card and letter from Garrett Ray of Kenton Junior Trophy Bass Masters for the donations which he shared how the funds were used and summary on the what the club
did this past season.
The Kenton Lions club will be holding a golf outing on September 16th at the Memorial park golf course.
Registration at 9:00 AM, shotgun start at 10:00 AM. 4-person team $75.00 non-member $55.00 member. Lunch provided and prizes. Proceeds will go to the pioneer park improvement project.
Hole sponsors are still needed at $100 per hole and Golf Cart Sponsors at $25 each and those who are interested in being a sponsor need to be established by August 31st.
