Masonry crews have progressed to the traditional classroom space of the Kenton Middle-High School Project as a drone hovers over the Performing Arts Center looking South West

Kenton, OH – Kenton Middle-High School construction is continuing to progress. Masonry work continues on the Performing Arts Center and on the front of the building.

Masonry work has also branched out to the music classrooms & food service kitchen areas. Electrical rough-ins are ongoing. Plumbing crews have installed and tested the sub-surface plumbing infrastructure in the traditional classroom section of the building. Plumbing crews will finish in the PAC space before moving toward the Gymnasium.

Over the next few months, crews will continue preparations for spring concrete pours.

“We are right where we need to be on this project,” said Superintendent Chad Thrush. “It is so exciting to see this new space really start to take shape next to our elementary school on Silver Street.”

Work will begin this winter on the existing Kenton High School facility as it undergoes HVAC and electrical renovations to convert the space to house the district central office staff.
