Kenton Rotary Members Hear About Natural Gas Industry
Mitch Given of The Empowerment Alliance and Mitch Given Consulting spoke to Kenton Rotary recently about the positive impact natural gas has on the economy and the environment.
The Natural gas industry is responsible for 11 million American jobs and 5% of all jobs are related to natural gas production in Ohio adding nearly $69 billion to Ohio’s economy.
Given also pointed out that U.S. emissions have dropped 78% since 1970 and natural gas is the number one reason.
He stated that natural gas is responsible for reducing air emissions 50% more than wind and solar.
