KHS Drill Team Competes in 24th annual Elyria Drill Meet

The Kenton High School drill team competed in the 24th annual Elyria Drill meet this past weekend.

They competed against several teams from northern Ohio and Michigan, and the team had a strong showing. 

The Academic Team, commanded by Aiden MacKenzie, took second place. 

Unarmed Platoon, commanded by Jesse Harrison, took 2nd place. 

Armed Platoon, commanded by Ben Dilts, took 3rd place. 

In individual competition, Adam Hopkins took 7th and Jesse Harrison took 8th in Armed Knockout. 

In Unarmed Knockout, cadet Aiden MacKenzie took 6th, while cadet Ben Dilts swept the field earning 1st place overall.
