Leighton Street Bridge in Kenton Reopens
Repairs have been made, and the South Leighton Street bridge is now open.
That was announced this morning on the City of Kenton Government Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CityofKenton
The bridge was shut down beginning on July 6.
Kenton Safety Service Director Cindy Murray stated at the time that the Ohio Department of Transportation advised the city that deficiencies were noted during a recent inspection.
ODOT said that the bridge needed to be closed so the repairs could be made.
