Lima Residents Warned About Scam
Several Lima citizens reported that they have been receiving phone calls from someone claiming to be from the Lima Police Department.
The caller is telling them that they have a warrant and are trying to get money from them.
Apparently, the caller has found a way to spoof the police department’s phone number.
The police department stated this is a scam.
The department said that they will not call and tell you that you have a warrant.
They will also not give you financial options to take care of the warrant.
