Limited Information Provided on Two Accidents on Thursday

There are still no details being provided on an injury accident that occurred Thursday afternoon in Kenton.

The crash occurred at around 3:50 Thursday afternoon in the 200 block of North Detroit Street.

It involved a head-on crash between a car and semi in the northbound lane of Detroit Street in Kenton.

Disabling damage occurred to the car.

After being freed from the vehicle, the driver was transported to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.

A roll over crash occurred at around 6:40 Thursday evening in the area of State Route 53 and County Road 60.

According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, there were two vehicles involved and one of the vehicles rolled over.

One occupant was transported to a local hospital with suspected serious injuries. 

The conditions of the other occupant and the driver of the other vehicle are currently unknown. 

The crash remains under investigation at this time. 

Assisting the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office at the scene were: Jackson-Forest EMS, Jackson-Forest Fire, Kenton Fire Department, BKP Ambulance District, Forest Police Department and Route 31 Towing.
