Two people were injured in a crash that occurred on US 33 at State Route 274 in Logan County Wednesday morning.

According to a release from the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 55 year old Michael Pfeiffer, of Russells Point, was driving east on 33 and slowed for traffic.

The vehicle was struck by a vehicle being operated by a 16 year old from Huntsville.

Pfeiffer was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.

The 16 year old driver was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital.

Pfeiffer was wearing a properly adjusted seat belt, but the 16-year-old was not.

The Patrol reminds motorists to never operate a motor vehicle distracted, and to always wear a properly adjusted seat belt, every time you are in a motor vehicle.
