Numerous residents around Logan County received letters from their lenders regarding flood insurance.

The floodplain maps from the Federal Emergency Management Agency officially went into effect at the end of November last year, and there were changes from the previous FEMA floodplain zone maps.

There is a contesting process that requires a surveyor and paperwork to possibly obtain a Letter of Map Amendment.

If you are a Logan County resident who received a letter from your lender, you can call the Logan County Soil and Water Conservation office at 937-404-3150 for further information on next steps.
