
The Marysville Division of Police is holding its Citizen Police Academy.
The academy is an opportunity for Marysville citizens to learn more about the department on a day-to-day basis.
Participants will learn about a variety of things including Patrol, Legal Considerations, Use of Force, Investigations, Active Shooter Response, Firearms, and more.
This is an opportunity for anyone 18 and over, but applications are due by January 8.
Classes will begin January 31st.
They will then be held twice a month Wednesday evenings until April 10 from 6 until 9pm.
