The Kenton Lions club held its meeting on Wednesday February 15, 2023, at the Kenton Elks.
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lion President Bill Keller with 19 members and 4 guests present.
President Lion Bill Keller led with the pledge and the prayer.
The meeting was adjourned and reconvened at 7:00 pm following a meal.
Guest speaker KCS Elementary Associate Principal Clint Sneary was introduced by Lion Kirk Cameron. Principle Sneary introduced 2 KCS Elementary Students, Meredith Cameron and Raeleigh Whitaker who spoke about Leader In Me Day.
They reviewed the 7 habits, with the addition of an 8th habit for Leader In Me. KCS Elementary will be having a Leader in Me Day on March 22, 2023. The student and Principal Sneary answered questions following the presentation.
Second reading of new officers was conducted.
Kenton Lion Club received a Membership Satisfaction Award for 2022-2023.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 pm. Followed by the singing of the Lions Roar.
50/50 drawing was won by Lion Matt Manns.
