Construction is underway on the East Columbus Street Sidewalk Project in the City of Kenton.

For the next 4 to 6 weeks, pedestrians may need to walk along the road shoulder, and motorists are encouraged to slow down and give them extra space.

The new sidewalks will connect Broadway to Walmart on the north side, and Jacob Parrott Boulevard to Walmart on the south side.

That is a big step for safer access across town.
