OSP Marion Post Releases Results of Recent OVI Checkpoint
The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Marion City Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office held an OVI checkpoint this past weekend.
The checkpoint was held on Mount Vernon Avenue near Forest Lawn Boulevard in the City of Marion.
Officers made contact with 610 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint.
5 vehicles were diverted for further investigation and 1 impaired driver was arrested for OVI.
