OSP Remembers Trooper Killed in Hardin County Crash in 1971

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is remembering a trooper who was killed in an accident in Hardin County on this date in 1971.

Patrolman Joel F. Miller was stationed at the Findlay Post.

He was killed in a car-train collision at a crossing on County Road 15 in Hardin County.

Miller was 28 years old.

He was a member of the 82 Academy Class, and his hometown was Bloomdale in Trumbull County.
