The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Peace Officer Memorial Service today.
The ceremony started at 11 this morning and was held at the Sheriff’s Office in Kenton.
It was held in honor of officers who have died in the line of duty, in Hardin County and in Ohio in the last year and in the years past.
It also was a tribute to officers currently serving.
Today marks the beginning of National Police Week, which runs through this Saturday May 21.
