Public Eye Focuses on Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer’s Association of Northwest Ohio is the topic of discussion on this week’s Public Eye program.

Executive Director Julia Faulkner-Pechlivanos said the Northwest Ohio Chapter is one of the 75 chapters that are part of the National Alzheimer’s Association operating across the country.

She said the Northwest Ohio Chapter covers 24 counties, including Hardin, “Providing direct service to families, but also advocating for the cause, and then finally of course, raising funds to support both of those services that we provide as well as research to find treatments and a cure for Alzheimer’s and all forms of dementia.”
