A Dayton teenager was sentenced Thursday in Hardin County Common Pleas Court on charges connected to an incident that occurred in May of this year in Kenton.
18-year-old Jayden Shannon was sentenced to a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of just under 10 years in prison on one count each of failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, felonious assault and obstructing official business and two counts each of vandalism and receiving stoeln property, one with a firearm specification.
The incident started in the parking lot of Ralphie’s Sports Eatery in Kenton, and continued with a police pursuit up Detroit Street, before the stolen vehicle Shannon was driving crashed into a house.
Shannon then fled the area on foot and was apprehended in the 100 block of North Market Street.
