Hardin County will share a big part of the spotlight during Super Bowl 57 in Glendale, Arizona this Sunday.

That is of course because the football used when the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the big game comes from the Wilson Sporting Goods plant in Ada.

In fact every football used by the NFL is manufactured at the plant, and has been for decades.

The plant has been located in Ada since 1955.

Plant Manager Andy Wentling said they are the largest leather football manufacturer in the world.

Wentling added that those footballs are not made by robots.

He said all of the work in the process is performed by people.

WKTN will have Super Bowl LVII coverage between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pregame Coverage starts at 5pm with Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner on the call for the game.
